A Permanent Home for Great Businesses

BUILT TO HOLD

A Forever Home for Your Company

Cembra is a permanent capital holding company that acquires enduring businesses to own indefinitely. When we acquire a business, it keeps its name, culture, and identity.

Our role is stewardship—helping great businesses, and the people behind them, thrive for decades.

The Long Game

  • Three workers in red uniforms walking towards oil pumpjack at sunset.

    A Permanent Owner

When we acquire a business, we plan to own it indefinitely. We are not constrained by a fund lifecycle and have no intention of selling in a few years.

    Building for the Next Generation

Our reputation matters. We build relationships designed to last generations. We hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards.

    Focus on Stewardship

We’re not in the business of optimizing companies every 3-5 years. We partner with great businesses and give them the freedom to grow. Our job is to preserve what makes each company special.

Our Process

Selling your business is an important decision. Our goal is to make the process simple, transparent, and respectful of your time. Throughout the process, we work to minimize disruption to the business and maintain strict confidentiality.

While the process can take as little as two months, we move at whatever pace you’re comfortable with.

These are the typical steps:

  • A brief introductory call to learn about your business and understand your goals as an owner.

  • If there is mutual interest, we sign a confidentiality agreement and review basic information about the business.

  • We present a clear and straightforward offer outlining price and transaction terms.

  • We work together to confirm key information and ensure the transaction is a good fit for both parties.

  • Once diligence is complete, we finalize the transaction and begin the transition process.
